On their Twitter and Myspace, Crime In Stereo has stated that they have called it quits. While touring with Streetlight Manifesto, the band was forced to cancel 5 shows due vocalist Kristian Hallbert’s emergency oral surgery. No word on whether complications from the surgery influenced their decision to split.

Sum 41′s Front-man, Deryck Whibley, is hospitalized after 3 people attacked him in a bar last night in Japan. This has been confirmed by his band-mates who has tweeted about the incident. Because of the attack, they have canceled their appearance at the Sonic Festival in Tokyo and Osaka. Read more about the incident here.
